World Sacred Spirit Festival
It’s that time of the year when the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur reverberates with the musical strains filled with ecstasy, joy and infectious energy when it opens its doors to an extraordinary sacred and historical musical journey every winter at the World Sacred Spirit Festival (WSSF).
Presented by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust, the World Sacred Spirit Festival (WSSF) brings together talent from different parts of the world and showcases the spiritual significance of music that transcends communities, cultures, and creeds. It is the aim of WSSF to highlight soulful music that inspires and awakens the divine in us. It immediately brings purity into our system that inspires spiritual expression as sound reflects and affects faith and values.
This year too, from February 22nd to 24th 2019, the inherited and spiritual arts preserved over decades will carry you to the very origin of a tradition linked to those pilgrims of the past during the three-day celebration. The exceptional performances will introduce you once again to the travelers of the spirit, who brought to civilisation a sense of inspiration and meaning. All from Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur to the Thar Desert of today.

Date: - 22nd, 23rd and 24th February 2019, 4 pm

Control, ALT, Delete
8 years, 10 shows, 3 cities and 100+ acts later – we are back with Control ALT Delete, country’s largest crowdfunded DIY live show.
This March Control ALT Delete will feature 2 days, 5 stages and 45+ artists in the unbelievably green and serene space of Roaring Farm, Malad. Roaring Farm is an old motocross track spread across 6 acres in a farm in Malad. It has hosted Control ALT Delete 10 as well and is a unique venue with greenery, a lake and plenty of space in the north of Mumbai.
Independent music across the country is evolving into its own little communities , sub-genres and subcultures. Control ALT Delete aims to represent and showcase all of these burgeoning scenes while giving the power back to where it belongs – to the listener.
A pay what you want model has been the bedrock of Control ALT Delete’s philosophy since its existence. This is the outlook that has allowed us to be an inclusive and safe space for music fans from all walks of life irrespective of their economic status, sexual orientation or musical preference. We don’t discriminate ever. Everyone who believes that music and the work of musicians has value and wants to experience cultural and musical freedom is welcome.
We have a no logo policy and all our sponsors are the contributors, actual people and bot brands, who make this happen year on year. We have been blessed to grow from a small gig to a two day, multi-stage showcase year on year. That trust is solely because of our curation and transparency when it comes to financials.
Each rupee contributed is accounted for and our accounts of all shows have been shared on public platforms for people to evaluate, question and hopefully get inspired to start their own scenes.
