Vh1 Supersonic 2019 ends on a high note with Jaden Smith and Marshmello taking the stage by storm

With stellar performances and a line up spanning nearly every genre, the sixth edition of India’s largest multi-genre music festival, Vh1 Supersonic opened big. The festival left the crowd dancing their hearts to the beats of top-notch headliners and other power packed performers. Brimming with the millennials, the site at the Mahalaxmi Lawns, Pune was surely to behold.

The first day of the festival marked Jaden Smith’s debut performance in India. The crowd came in huge numbers to witness the youngest and the most popular rapper, Jaden Smith perform live. His entry with the Indian flag was a moment that will be edged in the hearts of every single person present at the festival. Rudimental DJ, known for taking London’s underground music scene by storm, left the stage blazing with his bleeding edge beats.

A stellar performance by the indie rock band from Ireland, Two Door Cinema Club, also made its mark in a manner that it will be remembered for years. The band’s ravishing beats coupled with high energy, left the crowd wanting for more. In addition to them, the performances by TroyBoi, Paul Ritch, Broken Glass and others set the souls free with their sensational music. With an incredible mix of local as well as international performers, day one of Vh1 Supersonic was unequivocally a massive hit.

Vh1 Supersonic is known to deliver the best of experiences and the 2019 edition of the festival proves it all.  Not just because of its high tempo, but because of its wide range of fun filled activities and experiences. Laced with a lavish array of the finest delicacies, quirky festival merchandise, the Superflea and Food market became a huge hit as well. Students of Symbiosis College showcased beautiful art across the festival that added to the spectacular ambience at the festival. The festival also believes in pampering its patrons. Hence, the De-stress corner, the super flea market and the gaming pit had taken all on a trip of relaxation and leisure.

The second day at Vh1 Supersonic 2019 had an all-time high with stellar performances from Marshmello, Bonobo and some of India’s favourite artists taking over the stage. Day two of the extravaganza lit up with multi-genre music along with marvellous experiences for the festival goers. The return of Marshmello to Vh1 Supersonic 2019 was much awaited and he took the festival by storm by performing to some of his biggest hits. The Downtown Electronica King – Bonobo alsocreated an electrifying atmosphere with a surreal performance.

Indian sensation Prateek Kuhad took over the stage with fans singing along to all their favourite songs. On popular demand, Arjun Vaghale performed yet again at Vh1 Supersonic and stole the show with his display of soulful music. Tech Artists Ash Roy and Tuhin Mehta also won over the fans with their rhythm. The day only got better by performances from Lost Stories, BLOT!,Kohra, and Zaeden present at this edition upping the mood of the festival.

Speaking about the phenomenal turnout on of Vh1 Supersonic 2019, Saugato Bhowmik, Business Head- Integrated Network Solutions and Consumer Products, Viacom18, said, “The response this edition was incredible, and the love received from the music lovers across the country has given us million more reasons to come back. The experiences curated especially for everyone to live through this festival received a tremendous response and we couldn’t be happier. The audience was present till the end of the festival and enjoyed dancing to the beats of the finest music on the final day of Vh1 Supersonic 2019. India’s biggest multi-genre music festival concluded with a promise ofbeing larger than life.
