Sony DADC and Creinse globally launch Miles’ new album ‘Proborton’

Sony DADC India and Creinse Limited Bangladesh globally launched Miles’s new album titled ‘Proborton’ across both physical and digital platforms worldwide. This is the first album released under ArtistSpread platform and the first Bangladeshi album to be launched by Sony DADC.

ArtistSpread, a joint initiative of Sony DADC India and Creinse Limited Bangladesh, will facilitate Bangladeshi artists to enter the Indian market through a basket of distribution platforms such as leading Indian online and streaming platforms, Indian Telecom VAS Offerings, leading Indian e-commerce platforms and music retail stores. Physical albums will also be produced from the manufacturing plant of Sony DADC and released under Sony DADC brand for sale in leading Indian music chain stores and outlets. In addition, ArtistSpread will also create opportunities for music collaboration projects with Indian and global artists.

Celebrating the launch of the new album and their association with ArtistSpread, MILES lead vocalist Shafin Ahmed commented, “ArtistSpread is the biggest regional and global music distribution platform for Bangladeshi artists and we feel privileged to be the first ambassador of the venture. Under this association, we are bringing out a number of exciting projects and ‘Proborton’ is the first of many new exciting projects to follow. We are confident that ‘Proborton’ will engage the Miles fans across India and across the world and the new generation pop rock music around the globe.”

The title of the album ‘Proborton’ refers to evolving, changing with time. As for the 10th album of the band, the title perfectly portrays Miles’ position in the music scene for riveting the Bengali pop and rock music lovers for over three decades. The change that Miles address through the album is creating new sounds of music in sync with the global music trends.

‘Proborton’ features four songs, each having completely four different essences yet keeping the true signature style of Miles at its core and that is their passion for the pop rock music that never fails to touch the hearts of millions.

Formed in 1979, the band lineup includes Hamin Ahmed (vocal and guitar), Shafin Ahmed vocal and bass), Manam Ahmed (keyboards and vocal), Syed Ziaur Rahman Turjo (drums and percussion) and Iqbal Asif Jewel (guitar and vocal).

Miles is one of the leading and legendary rock bands of Bangladesh and is the first music band to be selected from Bangladesh under ArtistSpread.

The album will be available through multi platforms across the world which includes iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, XBOX, Napster, eMusic, TIDAL, Google Music, Gaana, Saavn etc. for online streaming & Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Tata Docomo, Aircel, MTS, Tata Indiacom, BSNL Indian telecom platforms.
