Avina’s first video Playboy reaches a milestone

Avina Shah’s single Playboy crosses over a million views on YouTube. Having just released on 4th May on YouTube and Gaana, the song has crossed over 2 million streams on the app and over a million views on YouTube in just two weeks making it one of the hottest songs this summer!

The official music video is directed by German Model Evelyn Sharma and choreographed by Nimit Kotian showing Avina getting groovy in a retro themed video. Since her first single Tere Bine which crossed over 700K views until Playboy, each of Avina’s release has been incredibly famous instantly connecting with global audiences beyond cultural barriers. Avina, who started off training in Classical music, went onto learning Jazz, kathak, bollywood and Hip Hop dance. "Women Empowerment" is the main message that Avina puts out in all of her songs, be it through artistic oppression or though though daily domestic struggles. The artist has worked with international music producers on a range of songs over the last few years. She has performed globally in places like UK, Europe, Middle East, USA, Africa and Asia.

Talking about entering the millions league online, she said, “It’s my first video to reach 1 million views and I’m over the moon that people are loving the track! The overwhelming response I’m receiving for my launch in India  is very heartwarming because I was initially very nervous about the response I would receive since Playboy is such a daring song! I’m glad to see that the song is growing by such leaps every day. I’m also finishing up my next few releases which will be coming out soon and I’m really excited to see what the future holds!”
