Post its official release on 9^th June`14, music maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s latest album ‘Back 2 Love’ has already set the pace and is in line to become the most successful non-film album of 2014! Released on leading record label Universal Music, the albums’ lead video “Zaroori Tha”, featuring television’s hottest couple Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon has crossed the coveted 1 million views mark on Vevo/YouTube within just 4 days of its release. While it’s not uncommon for `film’ music videos to achieve these numbers, Khan’s heart rendering song has turned out to be one of the fastest non-film music videos to hit the1 million mark in recent times!

The album has stormed onto the music scene, topping both retail and digital charts within a few days of its release. It peaked at #1 on both, the iTunes India Pop charts and the Nokia Music charts.On the overall iTunes India Album charts, which is usually dominated by Bollywood soundtracks, it peaked at #3 on the day of release.

Shot in Dubai by video director Rahul Sud, the beautiful video to “Zaroori Tha”features Gauhar Khan (model, actress, Big Boss Season 7 winner) and Kushal Tandon (actor, model, Big Boss 7) in the lead role of a very gripping and engaging love story that pulls at the heart strings.
