Shemaroo Entertainment celebrates the 75^th Birth Anniversary of inimitable singer Asha Bhosle by releasing premium song compilation DVD and VCD packs titled ‘Platinum Asha’. These packs were released by Asha herself sometime back along with veteran music director and singer Shri Yashwant Deo.

Platinum Asha features the original videos of 75 timeless songs sung by Asha Bhonsle for Hindi films down the years. Asha itself is synonymous with versatility and youth, and the 75 songs featured here represent the different moods and genres, right from ghazals to sensuous; from folklore to cabarets; from classical to devotional; from disco to romantic; from peppy to soulful. They also showcase the iconic beauties for whom Asha has lent her voice – right from the mesmerizing Madhubala of the 50s to the suave Aishwarya Rai of the new millennium.

The songs range from the popular ones like Jhumka Gira Re, Paan Khaaye Saiyyan Hamaro, Mud Mud Ke Na Dekh, to Raat Akeli Hai’, Jawaani Jaaneman and Do Lafzon Ki Hai.

The pack also includes her award winning songs from other popular films like Hare Rama Hare Krishna (Dum Maro Dum), Don (Yeh Mera Dil Yaar Ka Deewana) and Umrao jaan (Dil Cheez Kya Hai Aap Meri) among many others.
