Kylie and Jessie Ware reveal over the top video of ‘Kiss of Life’

Kylie and Jessie Ware release the fashion filled disco frenzy that is the official video for Kiss of Life recently. Starring Kylie and Jessie, the fantastic video was shot at London’s stylish Ave Mario restaurant, filled with striking characters.

The official visual sees Kylie and Jessie feature alongside an array of captivatingly conspicuous individuals from Theo Adams Company, including London’s nightlife royalty, Princess Julia. Mirroring the disco-filled sound of Kiss of Life, the official video is brimming with glamour and chaos, transporting viewers into a Pedro Almodóvar inspired 1980s telenovela.

The Kiss of Life video was directed by regular Kylie collaborator Sophie Muller.

Kiss of Life was written by Kylie and Jessie Ware, alongside James Ford, Danny Parker and Shungudzo, who collaborated with Jessie on her hugely successful album ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’, released last year. It follows single A Second to Midnight with Years & Years, which was released earlier this month to widespread praise - deemed ‘dazzling’ by NME and a ‘delightful disco fever dream’ by Rolling Stone.

Last month Kylie announced the new ‘DISCO: Guest List Edition’ which will be released on November 12 via BMG. The new version of her hugely successful DISCO will feature Kiss of Life, A Second to Midnight alongside another brand- new track titled Can’t Stop Writing Songs About You, recorded with disco legend Gloria Gaynor. The new version of DISCO also features an array of incredible remixes from the original album and ‘Real Groove (Studio 2054 Remix)’ - last year’s hit collaboration with Dua Lipa.

Kylie’s record-breaking fifteenth studio album DISCO saw her make chart history once more as the first female artist to have a UK No.1 album in five consecutive decades. It was released to widespread acclaim last year and was hailed as ‘an irresistible tonic to real life. Thank God for Kylie Minogue’ by Metro in a 5* review and ‘the ultimate rescue remedy’ by The Observer (4*). It featured lead singles ‘Say Something’, ‘a galactic slice of pop music heaven’ (i-D) - and ‘Magic’, which NME called ‘an exuberant, horn-fuelled romp.’

‘DISCO: Guest List Edition’ is out 12th November via BMG.
