B-Girl Logistx and B-Boy Amir crowned 2021 Red Bull BC One World Champions

B-Girl Logistx from the USA and B-Boy Amir representing Kazakhstan have been crowned champions of the 2021 Red Bull BC One World Final.The highly anticipated annual event, which took place at Ergo Arena in GdaƄsk, Poland on November 6, saw the world’s best breakers go head-to-head in front of thousands of spectators and online viewers tuning in from across the globe. 

B-Girl Logistx dethroned two-time reigning Red Bull BC One World Champion, B-Girl Kastetfrom Russia. She defeated B-Girl Vavi, also from Russia, in the final to become the youngest b-girl winner to take the belt.In the final b-boy battle, B-Boy Amir dominated against Phil Wizard, a Canadian b-boy known for his unique style, to become the first breaker from Kazakhstan to win the Red Bull BC One World Final.

B-Girl Logistx said, This is a dream. I literally envisioned this moment so many times. Red Bull BC One is something I’ve always wanted to win.I feel it is not just the belt, it’s not just the title, but what I am representing on the floor, the values and morals. Thank you everybody in the room for giving me this energy.”

B-Boy Amir added, “I felt the power in my soul and in my mind. And I am glad that I could show that power here, on that stage.”

To qualify for the Red Bull BC One World Final, competitors from more than 60 qualifier events across 30 countries competed for the opportunity to represent their nation alongside an invitational line up of 24 wildcard breakers. This year, the Red Bull BC One World Final featured a full top 16 b-girl line up for the first time since the event’s inception.

The final top 16 line up of the Red Bull BC One World Final included B-Boys Sunni (UK), Zoopreme (Denmark), Lagaet (France), Thomaz (Poland), TawfiQ (Netherlands), Xak (Spain), Wild Jerry (Belarus), Shigekix (Japan), Phil Wizard (Canada), Flea Rock (USA), Bart (Brazil), Gun (Russia), Lee (Netherlands), Nori (Japan) and Johnny Fox (Spain).

B-Girl World Finalists included Sidi (Greece), San Andrea (France), Madmax (Belgium), Paulina (Poland), Ami (Japan), Kastet (Russia), Yell (South Korea), Luma (Colombia), Ram (Japan), Carito (Argentina), Nadia (Russia), Ayumi (Japan), Fanny (France), Stefani (UK) and Vavi (Russia) who all battled for the prestigious world champion title, but it was B-Girl Logistx and B-Boy Amir who reigned supreme.

MEET THE 2021 RED BULL BC ONE WORLD CHAMPIONS:

B-Girl Logistx (USA)

Logan Edra, aka Logistx, was born and raised in California. She is a Red Bull BC One All Star, a member of the Underground Flow crew and BreakinMIA. As a seasoned performer and beautifully articulate choreographer, she's taken breaking from street cyphers to packed out multi-tiered theatres, television screens and some of the most respected stages across the globe. Logistx loves articulating societal issues and her own emotions through dance pieces.

A big accomplishment in her breaking career came when she won the 2018 Silverback Open B-Girl solo competition. She also won the junior breaking Seven to Smoke battle at the 2019 RadikalForze Jam. She has won the 2021 Red Bull BC One World Final. This year is her second appearance after 2019.

B-Boy Amir (Kazakhstan)

Original from Kazakhstan and now living in Russia, Amir has been firmly putting his name on the international breaking scene since winning the 2020 Legits Blast Prague solo battle and then then 2021 Unbreakable solo battle. With an extremely unpredictable, musical and hard-hitting style of breaking, Amir started every battle he did in the Last Chance Cypher, first beating Morris from USA, then Pac Pac from France. Amir went on to win the 2021 Red Bull BC One World Final.
