GRAMMY®-winning global recording artist Kali Uchis has revealed her latest single Ilysmih via Capitol Records. The record serves as the second single from forthcoming fifth studio album ‘Sincerely,’ set for release 9^th May.

A delicate and heartfelt ballad inspired by the profound experience of motherhood and immeasurable love for her child, Ilysmih serves as one of the most intimate and vulnerable releases to date from the Colombian-American recording artist.

Throughout the track, Uchis’ brilliantlycaptures all the complex emotions that are related to the experience of becoming a first-time mom. With her signature ethereal vocals set against a backdrop of lush melodies and soothing instrumentation, Ilysmihultimately paints a picture of the overwhelming joy, fierce protectiveness, and transformative emotions that are felt with such a life altering event. Notably, Ilysmihwas one of the first songs that Uchis had written since welcoming her child into the world, marking a significant and deeply personal new chapter in her artistry.

Ilysmih arrives on the heels of last month’s release of Sunshine & Rain, the first single from this new era of music from Kali Uchis.

Adding to her recent highlights, Kali Uchis made a surprise appearance during JENNIE’s set at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival Weekend 1, delighting audiences by joining the singer on stage to perform their recent collaboration Damn Right. The unexpected performance further underscored Uchis’ versatility and solidified her position as a dynamic and influential force across all genres of music.

Kali Uchis has been hailed as a rare talent since she emerged, but ‘ORQUÍDEAS’ launched her career to new heights.
