Global line up for Music stage at the ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival announced

Jaipur is once again set to dance to the beat of world class musicians as the annual ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival brings together an eclectic line up of artists playing morning and night. The music performances will take place at two locations, the Font Lawns at Diggi Palace in the morning and the Music Stage at Hotel Clarks Amer in the evening as part of the world’s largest free literary festival this month, January 21-25, 2015. The Festival is grateful for the support of all its partners including the Aga Khan Music Initiative, the Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop and the Royal Norwegian Embassy who help bring world-class musicians to Jaipur.

Dr. Soma Ghosh launched her 23rd album 'Chaand Tanha – a tribute to Meena Kumari' at an event called Puchte Ho, toh Suno at the Rangsharda auditorium, Bandra, Mumbai. Music composer Ravindra Jain and BJP minister, Vidya Thakur, launched Somaji’s album. At the event Dr. Ghosh performed ghazals and nazms from her album Chaand Tanha, Ek Baigani si Khushi mein, Mere Meheboob and many more. Rishika Mishra the granddaughter of Kathak queen SitaraDevi also performed at the event.
