Three weeks ago, just when everyone’s lockdown blues were reaching new heights, EDM artist Ritviz thrilled audiences with a call-out for a crowded-sourced music video for his latest track, Thandi Hawa. Since then, fans of the prodigal DJ just haven’t been able to keep calm, bringing about the much needed positive vibes online with their many, fun entries.

Living up to its hype, the music video in collaboration with Bacardi Sessions, has already witnessed over half a million views in just 24 hours. It features several happy fans and artists like Kaneez Surka, Aisha Ahmed, Sejal Kumar and Shayan Roy, moving and grooving to the track, as they power-through the lockdown.

To bring music lovers the much awaited video while keeping to social distancing, Ritviz decided to take help from his biggest supporters – his fans. In a bid to bring people closer together, Ritviz and Bacardi Sessions opened up the ‘virtual floor’ to fans for a chance to be featured in the music video, encouraging them to do what moves them, with their own visual interpretations of the track. Videos poured in from not only India but across the world, with over 500 entries of fans, doctors, nurses and even cute pups, expressing their own unique talents, creativity and passion, all to the tune of Thandi Hawa.

Speaking on the music video, Ritviz said, “I’ve always been so grateful for the love I’ve received from fans over the past few years, but the Thandi Hawa experience has been especially surreal.
