14th January, 2024Young and multi talented 17 year Mumbai-based singer/songwriter, Shriya, brings a fresh sound to the world of Pop in India. She blends together her knowledge of jazz, and R&B/Soul leaving you with memorable melodies, encapsulating harmonies, and emotional lyrics.
Releasing her first original Tell Me at the age of 14, Shriya has been writing and composing music from before her teenage years. Some of her favourite artists include jazz legends such as Ella Fitzgerald and Antônio Carlos Jobim, and also pop and R&B pioneers such as Daniel Caesar, Erykah Badu, and Tate McRae. By blending together the realms of R&B, and Pop, Shriya’s music resonates with a large audience.
Reminiscing about that romance you knew wouldn't last. In her latest song, On My Mind, Shriya blends the realms of Pop & RnB. The song depicts a teenager’s acceptance that even in a happy relationship the joyful moments are ephemeral and fleeting.
