After his heartfelt collaboration Halke Halke with Bhavya Pandit, singer-songwriter and music composer Jayant Sankla returns with a new track titled Musalsal, which released on 29th May.
Musalsal, an Arabic word meaning “continuous”, is a gentle and emotional song about love that quietly begins and keeps growing, without the need for words or promises. It captures that unspoken connection between two people, where feelings flow naturally and steadily.
The track features Ankitraj Vishwakarma on mandolin and guitars, and is mixed and mastered by Pankaj Borah. The music video is shot and edited by Mayur Erulkar, with visuals by Darshita Rastogi (This That & Design).
Speaking about the track, Jayant shares, “Musalsal is very close to my heart. It reflects those soft, early moments when love just starts to form — slowly and silently. It’s about the kind of emotion that doesn’t need to be explained. I’ve tried to keep the sound simple and honest, and I hope it connects with listeners in their own personal way.” Musalsal is available on all major streaming platforms now.
