Taaj, meaning "crown" or "material possessions," is a poignant modern Punjabi love ballad that strips away the superficial to plead for genuine presence and attention. The song's core message, encapsulated in the line “Mainu ni chahide taaj sohniye ni” (I don't want crowns, my dear), highlights a profound yearning for authentic connection over material desires.

Lyrically, Taaj paints a vivid picture of a lover navigating the digital remnants of a fading relationship, chasing memories through sleepless nights and digital footprints. It masterfully captures the tension between deep emotional investment and the frustration of unreciprocated effort.

Musically, Taaj diverges from Tricksingh's previous high-energy releases, embracing a minimalist soundscape.
