In his 15th track from his project album ‘Endless’, ace guitarist Shitalchandra Kulkarni, recently released Shitaletto..(On The Toes), a shrill work of guitar mastery.

Using a part of his name in his track, Shital has created a track that is different from the work he has done in the past. With a latino base as the template, he has created an adrenaline pumping uptempo piece of work that will keep you on your toes.“Fingers on acoustic fret board narrating semi western classical piece. It’s conversational track”, shares the Pune based Shitalchandra, while adding “just like a dialogue between two guitars, one as canvas, other on the toe, this track is pure bliss”.

Shitalchandra who also runs a music school called Institute of Modern Music, has used no electronics in this track, keeping it very basic with two simple acoustic guitars, using no amps, effects, processing, pedals and layers. The funky track which puts you in a dancing mood is totally raw on the acoustic flavour and resonance. “The track builds speed to create that melody which touches your flamboyant self. The progressive chord back up harmony helps to compliment the sketch of the composition which ends with powered strings giving way to be a good run to the feel of overdrive,” says Shitalchandra, who recently won the LIT Music Silver Award for Best Multi Instrumentalist and 2nd place in the Elite Music Award for Musician Of The Year for his track First Passion.

Speaking on instruments used on the track, he says, “On this new track I have used Indian acoustic guitars, captured by two ambient mics, like tech of two ears. You may call it classical, Latino, Spanish, I don’t know, it’s just me with my guitar, spelling out notes which touches me”

As mentioned earlier, this work is the exact opposite to his earlier work he has produced in last five years with the project ‘Endless’.

With music awards and so much music releases happening with the extremely talented guitarist, he is all set to make more music tracks that guitarists all over the world and in the country can listen, take note of look up to. More power to him.
