Singer Maxwell Fernandes recently releases his first song Mann from the new musical series “Mann Ka Music”. This song has been released in the East Indian language and is also going to be released in Hindi too.
This musical series have songs that are straight from his heart and that’s the reason it’s named “Mann Ka Music”. Fernandes states that this musical series is going to have no language or music genre barrier as the slogan says “Because Music Has No Barriers”.
He says, “The song is about the self doubt feeling that every individual goes through in day to day life and about one figuring out what is life”.
Fernandes is a well know singer, composer and producer of East Indian songs like Umbracha Pani and East Indian Boltan Aamana. While this is only his hobby, his main work is his devotion to Bollywood and the Marathi music industry where he has produced various songs like the title track to Bollywood films like ‘London Missal’, Kaafir from ‘72 Hoorain’ and many more.
Fernandes made his debut as director in the film ‘Salman Society’. Fernandes has also given music to many ad films for brands like Siyarams, Max Protein, Blinkit, and many more. He is currently working on films and web series, his most recent being for the film ‘Inteqam’.
Fernandes has been into music since he was 5 years old when he bagged prizes during his schooling, inter-school competitions and even during his college days. “I did my schooling from Holy Cross English High School. It was here where I knew I wanted to do music since I excelled in music”. While in college he was once again given recognition for his singing and was nominated for the Nationals where he bagged the 2nd rank for Western Vocals. He has also won the ABVP title for singing. “Nobody from my family is into music, so it just happened, music was and is always within me and my family loves it too”.
Fernandes has a Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He later did a course in Sound Designing & Music Production which has benefited him in the career he has chosen. He is proficient in playing the piano, guitar, drums and cites his musical influences as A.R Rahman, Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam, Salim- Sulaiman. “Working in Bollywood and Marathi industry has been my passion and taking East Indian Music to a commercial recognition is my dream”.
The 25 year old Dahisar lad hopes to see himself as a well-known independent artist in next 5 years and make more music in the years to come. But for the moment tune he wants you to listen to his first song Mann from the series “Mann Ka Music” and support his work.
