27th November, 2025What happens when the youth of Mumbai decide to put together the greatest weekend the city has ever seen?
The answer is Global Youth Festival (GYF) coming to the Jio World Garden, 6-7 December, 2025. On its sixth edition, this festival will see 15,000+ attendees and 60+ experiences across 6 life-size arenas, bringing never-seen-before curations across wisdom & wellbeing, adventure, arts & culture, music, yoga & mindfulness, social impact, and skill-building.
This year’s edition will open with a landmark ceremony led by Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, setting the tone for a historic weekend for the city’s youth.
After touring cities such as London and Pune, GYF now returns with its most anticipated edition yet marking its flagship, grand-scale Mumbai chapter.
GYF is a marquee property of the Global Youth Community, with a presence spanning 20+ countries and 170+ cities. This is a young passionate collective of creators, professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, changemakers, and emerging talent across industries — united by a shared purpose: to lift as they rise.
Whether it was a mega Cyclothon that mobilised thousands to ride for charity, or a rural upliftment expo that brought together initiatives across healthcare, animal care, and community welfare — this movement has consistently translated intent into impact. And now, Jio World Garden becomes the living universe that GYF has built over the years.
The Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Maharashtra, has also come on board as an official partner. Along with the State Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare, Shri Manikrao Kokate, the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Shri Mansukhbhai Mandaviya, will also be in attendance at GYF 2025, further strengthening the festival’s commitment to nationwide youth empowerment.
This year’s speaker lineup further adds to the festival’s scale, with high-impact panels featuring renowned leaders such as Diipa Büller-Khosla, Dipali Goenka (CEO of Welspun India Ltd), and Malaika Arora bringing diverse perspectives on culture, leadership, creativity, wellness, and the future of youth-driven change.
Over five editions, GYF has hosted a distinguished lineup of influential voices, including Hon. Deputy CM of Gujarat Shri Harsh Sanghvi, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Ronnie Screwvala, Anupam Mittal, Prashant Pitti, Kailash Kher, Dr. Aditi Govitrikar, Atul Bagai (Former India Head, UNEP), Dr. Aarti Shah (Board Member, NVIDIA) individuals whose journeys have inspired audiences across the world.
Unlike conventional youth gatherings that centre on singular elements like music, art, or entertainment, GYF stands apart as an integrated experience with something for every kind of young person. Some describe it as a “Coachella of Consciousness,” others as a “Festival of Inner Change & Outer Impact.” Few have even begun referring to it as “India’s Largest Sober Festival.”
After lighting up Mumbai, GYF will travel to Kolkata on 14th December, 2025, with a New York, USA, edition on the horizon next year.
Amidst the peak of India’s festival season, GYF makes a confident promise: this experience will be incomparable to any other. This is not an aspiration, but an assurance, backed by a legacy of excellence in action.
