The NCPA announces the Third Edition of Home Grown, featuring rock band Pune’s Nemophilis and Hyderabad singer Priyanka Nath

The NCPA’s Home Grown festival returns this February with its third edition, continuing its focus on showcasing independent bands from outside Mumbai.

Presented as a two-day concert series at the Experimental Theatre, the 2026 edition brings together artistes from Pune and Hyderabad, offering audiences a chance to engage with contemporary pop and rock voices from across the country. The festival reflects the NCPA’s ongoing effort to create performance opportunities for emerging and independent musicians within a focused, listening-driven environment.

Day 1 - Nemophilis

Experimental Theatre, 7th February, 2026, 6.30 pm

Pune-based band Nemophilis features Kshitij Kumar Choudhary and Rohit Lalwani on lead vocals and guitar, with Saurabh Lodha on bass and Akarsh Singh on drums. Their live performances are structured around high-energy arrangements that draw from classic rock frameworks while engaging with modern pop influences.

The band’s approach reflects the members’ varied musical backgrounds, shaped through years of performing and producing music across genres. This versatility informs their set design, allowing them to move fluidly between familiar song structures and original material, while maintaining a strong connection with live audiences.
