Mumbai-based jazz vocalist and songwriter Zian B recently released her new acoustic EP ‘Still Standing,’ 12^th March, 2026. Stripped down to just piano and voice, the EP offers an intimate reimagining of some of her most personal work, allowing each song’s emotional core to take centre stage.

‘Still Standing’features acoustic versions of two of Zian’s previous releases, Uncertain  and Ace of Spades,  alongside Fallin’, which has already been released in its rubato piano and voice form.

Previously presented with fuller arrangements, Zian’s songs - Uncertain and Ace of Spades are reborn here in their most vulnerable state. By removing layers and production, Zian invites listeners into a more vocal & lyric centric space this time—one where vulnerability, resilience and strength are brought into sharp focus.

“Still Standing is about stripping everything back—sonically and emotionally,” says Zian. “These songs have always been very personal, and presenting them in such a raw form felt like the most honest way to tell their story. It’s about survival, healing and finding a sense of  grounding after uncertainty.”

Young pianist Aditya Ahir brings a fresh perspective to the piano accompaniment on Uncertain and Ace of Spades, adding subtle nuance while preserving the songs’ emotional restraint.

Known for her background in jazz, improvisation, and storytelling, Zian B’s songwriting often explores themes of self-discovery and recovery. Still Standing reflects her personal journey through physical and emotional hardships, offering listeners a space for comfort & genuine connection.
