Marking a milestone moment during the 11th Kittyversary celebrations, ‘Battle Royale: Mumbai Edition’ took over Kitty Su, The Lalit Mumbai on Saturday night (11th April 2026) with a high-octane drag excellence, fierce performances, and unapologetic queer expression.

Following two successful editions in Delhi, the third edition of Battle Royale brought the spotlight to Mumbai’s drag scene, featuring a powerful lineup of homegrown talent. Designed as a healthy yet high-energy competition, the night showcased seasoned drag artists going head-to-head in electrifying lip-sync battles set to a mix of new-age anthems and timeless classics.

As the evening progressed, the energy inside the venue only escalated as the contest fiercely was contested by four contestants.

Hosted by the dynamic Betta Naan Stop, the evening unfolded with immersive storytelling, fierce face-offs, and a charged audience that amplified every moment.

The competition featured standout performers including Flexi Gloss, Velvet Vox, Shay D, Trixie Cup, Magic Wand, and Emperor Naaz, each bringing their unique artistry and stage presence to the Battle Royale arena.

The competition was judged by an iconic panel that included Zeesh — A visionary force within the Kittyverse, Seventeen Sins — Renowned for their winning streak and fierce drag persona, Mysterious Munda — A celebrated performer known for commanding stages nationwide.

The competition followed a bracket-style format, where contestants battled 1v1 through intense lip-sync rounds, leading to a gripping final showdown between the top two finalists.

Amidst cheers from the crowd, contestants delivered performances that ranged from theatrical and high-concept to rhythm-driven and immersive, keeping the audience invested throughout. The format encouraged not just performance, but personality—each participant carving out a distinct identity on stage. The outfits were classy, evoked style and chic, just right for the occasion.

By the time the winners were announced, the room was at its peak with screams and high anticipation. After an unforgettable finale packed with drama, precision, and crowd energy, Velvet Vox emerged victorious, taking home the coveted ‘Battle Royale: Mumbai Edition’ crown. Vox’s victory was both well-earned and widely anticipated going by the crowd response. Vox’s performance captivated both judges and audience alike, setting a new benchmark for drag excellence.

Vox whose performance combined confidence, originality, and a strong and immediate connection with the audience was a sure winner. While each contestant stood out for its polish and presence, earning visible crowd support as the competition intensified, it was Vox who garnered eyeballs with her charisma, stage presence, and originality
