On both the days, fans thronged the venue, with thousands from across the country gathered for two days of comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, collectibles, and immersive experiences. From fans flying in nationwide to local commuters arriving in full superhero gear, the convention showfloor buzzed with people and packed line-ups bringing the festival atmosphere to life. When it comes to fans and celebration, Mumbai never disappoints for sure.
Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, said, “Mumbai has a very distinct fan culture because this city genuinely loves shared experiences. Whether it’s concerts, cricket, festivals, or live events, people here always show up with a lot of energy, and Comic Con was no different. What stood out this weekend was how naturally the city turned Comic Con into part of its social culture. You had college groups, working professionals, creators, and fandom communities all spending their weekend together at the venue, moving between cosplay meetups, stage performances, gaming zones, and merch stalls. That kind of all-day participation is something Mumbai brings really well.”
Shefali Johnson, CEO, Comic Con India said, “Mumbai is always special for us because it’s the final show of the Comic Con season, and there’s no better city for a finale. As one of the biggest entertainment capitals, the audience here naturally connects very deeply with storytelling and fandom culture. What I love about Mumbai is that you will see people come straight from offices, college groups travelling across local train lines in cosplay, and fans waiting for hours just to catch a performance or meet their favourite creators. The city moves fast, people work incredibly hard, but when Mumbai celebrates something it loves, it goes all in. That’s why Mumbai always gives us the perfect showstopper ending to the season. And we can’t wait to come back again!”
This year’s international guest lineup was a dream come true for comic book and anime enthusiasts. The event welcomed multiple Eisner and Harvey Award–winning cartoonist Ramón K. Pérez, celebrated for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man and All-New Hawkeye. Anime fans were treated to the biggest on-ground anime activation in India to date, headlined by voice actor Taito Ban and producer Atsushi Kaneko from the global hit Solo Leveling. The excitement reached fever pitch with a live performance by legendary singer Hiroshi Kitadani, the voice behind the iconic We Are!, followed by an electrifying Day 2 set from DJ Kazu, renowned for high-energy anime music performances. Fans also enjoyed rare meet-and-greets with Yvon Tremblay and Christian Tremblay, creators of the cult classic SWAT Kats.
Fans were also seen queuing to get posters signed and meet Harry Hambley, the creator behind Ketnipz, an art and animation page centered on Bean, a small, naked pink character just trying to make it through the day.
The show floor featured over 90 exhibitors, artists, publishers, and creators, alongside exclusive merchandise drops, cosplay showcases, gaming zones, and fan competitions.
