After establishing herself as one of the most exciting voices in India's independent music landscape, singer-songwriter and composer Prateeksha Srivastava returns with her latest single, Sajna Ve.

Released on 22nd May 2026, the track is Prateeksha's first release since signing with Warner Music India, and it arrives with all the warmth and playfulness her listeners have come to expect. Sajna Ve follows a young woman deep in the throes of infatuation, where every small moment becomes cinematic and every daydream turns into a full production. It's unapologetically filmy, and that's precisely the point.

"With 'Sajna Ve', I thought it’d be nice to actually show a girl drowned in love. Cupid's hit her, she's chasing the guy, and he's loving every second of it. It's a classic dynamic, but I wanted to flip the usual Bollywood script and make it feel like a proper audio-visual journey and I really hope 'Sajna Ve' finds its way into people's hearts, just like mine." says Prateeksha.

The release follows Prateeksha's recent signing with Warner Music India, marking an exciting new chapter in her artistic journey. Prateeksha has steadily emerged as one of the most exciting voices in the independent music space. As the songwriter and composer behind Sunidhi Chauhan's acclaimed pop track Aankh, she has established herself as a multifaceted artist whose work spans singing, songwriting, and composition. 

A Spotify RADAR artist for Khamakhaan, she was later featured on Spotify's RADAR Global playlists and performed at Spotify RADAR events. Her journey has taken her from playback music to building a distinctive independent identity, collaborating with artists such as Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal Mishra, Ash King, Sachin-Jigar, and Javed Ali, while also collabing with Edward Maya (Stereo Love Fame and International electronic artist). Most recently, she took her EP ‘Tiny Truths’ on a successful five-city India tour, further strengthening her connection with audiences across the country.
