03rd December, 2025India’s most beloved voice, Padma Shri Sonu Nigam, kicked off his much-awaited Satrangi Re India Tour in Mumbai with a mesmerising performance that set the tone for the multi-city musical spectacle ahead.
The concert, which marked the grand opening night of the tour, served as a soulful tribute to the emotions and experiences that have shaped his illustrious four-decade journey in music. Produced and conceptualised by NR Talent & Event Management and BookMyShow, the evening was a vibrant celebration of the seven colours of love, each representing a unique emotion that resonates with Sonu Nigam's vast repertoire of songs.
From the very first note, the evening radiated energy, nostalgia and devotion. The audience was transported through a spectrum of emotions, from passion and joy to longing and reflection, as Sonu Nigam performed timeless hits that have become synonymous with love itself. Backed by a world-class band and a visually spectacular stage design inspired by the seven hues of the ‘Satrangi Re’ theme, the concert delivered a sensory feast of sound, light and colour, weaving together music and storytelling in perfect harmony.
Addressing his beloved fans, Sonu Nigam expressed, “A very warm welcome to all of you. Itna pyaar, itne log, I am truly very grateful to each one of you and to God”.
Fan-favourite hits including Bijuria, Pardesiya, Jeene Ke Hai Char Din, Papa Meri Jaan, Yeh Dil Deewana, Saathiya, Satrangi Re, Main Agar Kahoon, Sooraj Hua Madham, All Is Well, Shukran Allah among others reverberated through the venue, drawing thunderous applause and soulful sing-alongs from thousands of fans.
Sonu Nigam delighted the audiences by inviting a few lucky fans from the crowd to join him on stage,as they grooved together to the iconic hookstep of his electrifying hit, Bijuria.
Renowned personalities including Munawar Faruqui, Salim Merchant, Nakuul Mehta, Tanmay Bhatt, Sahiba Bali, Shaan Grover, Rishabh Sawhney, Lauren Gottlieb, among others, were spotted at the concert, soaking in the electric atmosphere and grooving to the maestro’s soulful tunes.
The Mumbai leg of the Satrangi Re India Tour witnessed an overwhelming turnout drawing 13,000 fans, who lit up the venue with their colourful zylobands, while a state-of-the-art stage design, dynamic lighting and pristine acoustics came together to create an unforgettable experience.
Sonu Nigam is one of India's most successful playback singers, with a career spanning over three decades. He has won numerous awards, including the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honour and multiple Filmfare Awards. Known for his versatility and vocal range, Sonu Nigam has sung in multiple languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, and more.
The tour will travel to Kolkata (December 6th), Ahmedabad (December 21st), Pune (January 10th, 2026) and Delhi-NCR (March 28th, 2026), set to captivate audiences across the country as it continues its celebration of love through seven musical shades, each reflecting a distinct emotion and chapter from Sonu Nigam’s iconic musical journey.
