Grown, the focus track of BombayMami’s debut album ‘Peaceful Attitude’, (released in mid April, via MNRK Music Group), is an anthem of self-confidence and understanding that captures the hardness & softness of BombayMami’s outlook- combining weakness and strength; Anglo-Swiss and Indian; Pop/R&B and Classical; it’s all a natural part of ‘Peaceful Attitude’ and being BombayMami.

Says BombayMami, “It’s just looking at myself in the mirror and seeing the little girl, and telling her that she’s done well, my soft heart can be seen as naivety, but you have to flip it and make it your power”.

The journey to her debut album kicked off with the early-2025 single Fire In Delhi. Her stunning video clip snowboarding down the Alps in a red lehenga garnered millions of views and emphatically announced her arrival onto the scene.

Since Fire In Delhi, BombayMami has built momentum with a run of successive singles. From the LGBTQ+ aligned Hot Boyz to the empowering, intimate Curse; from the delicate, multilingual Jaloux to the Afro pop-meets-Bollywood Energy (Chak Dum Dum); and finally, the anthemic Gulabi Mantra, inspired by the grassroots women’s collective `Gulabi Gang’ — all showcasing her fearless fusion of cultures, redefining boundaries of tradition and modernity.

With her music and distinctive attitude, BombayMami has drawn the attention of leading media outlets, with features and interviews in Vogue, Rolling Stone India, Elle India, The New Indian Express, Hindustan Times, The Free Press Journal, Mid-Day, Face Magazine, among others. She was also invited to perform at the inaugural `Bud X NBA House’ NBA event in Mumbai alongside a stacked-up lineup. Most recently BombayMami’s “DhinDhinDha” is featured in Amazon Prime Video’s latest limited series `Bait’.

The stage is set for the arrival of ‘Peaceful Attitude’. Produced by Tudor Monroe (Pa Salieu, CKay, Stefflon Don), StillNaS (Aya Nakamura) and Mintsauce(SOLOMON), the album marks a new chapter for an artist whose music blurs borders and resists convention, resonating across genres and geographies.

Speaking about the album, she adds “`Peaceful Attitude’ is more than my debut album - it’s my personal mantra and the way I’m learning to move through the world. This project reflects my journey into womanhood, self-trust, boundaries, and softness after survival.  This album is about becoming a grown woman, accepting that I make mistakes, learning from them, and choosing peace without dimming my power.”
