Sex Tape – (Reliance Home Video) Rs 599/-

Starring Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, Ellie Kemper, Rob Lowe

Directed by Jake Kasdan

Want a soft porn flick, try this sex-based comedy that has a pretty okay plot, funny characters and jokes that would surely make a movie of this type a smash hit. The film has got plenty of the F word and nudity that consists of butts and side breasts. However, we don’t get a chance to see any part of Diaz’ frontal nudity, however her antics in this plot are hilarious. So expect lots of sex scenes, drug use, adult humor which makes it a full on adult entertainment.

Our plot begins with Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in a relationship. They met in college and from the beginning couldn’t keep their hands off one another. It was a relationship based on sex, sex and more sex in all the different positions, all cleverly shown to the audience in bits and pieces as the relationship progressed. Finally Jay and Annie get married and two kids later, their sex life has dropped to zero.

Now ten years of marriage they find their life needs a kick-start. To spice things up, Annie suggests they make a video of themselves trying out every position in the illustrated book ‘The Joy of Sex’. After a couple of tequila shots, they record themselves on their iPad. The following morning, they realize that their most private video is no longer private. The culprit? Cloud computing. They’ve synced the film to several iPads the couple gave away as gifts to friends, family and most importantly the CEO of the company interested in purchasing Annie’s family-friendly blog.

The rest of the movie now rests on how Jay and Annie attempt to retrieve the iPads and erase the sex tape from the Internet. They begin a wild night of adventure tracking down leads, roping in friends, a blackmailing kid and duping Annie’s boss, all to reclaim their video, their reputation, their sanity and, most importantly, their marriage.

The DVD has about 30 minutes of Bonus Material.
